Our Story
PBG began operations in Milan in 1947, immediately after the end of World War II, by manufacturing the first quartz crystals for civilian use components incorporated into the telecommunications equipment that was gradually being developed.
Since 1975, under its current name, the company has specialized in the production of piezoelectric quartz crystals for measuring thin-film deposition at the nanometer scale.
Our quartz products are used in PVD systems primarily in the optics sector, but they can also be applied in precision optics and the automotive industry.
Vacuum Coating Solutions
Since 1999, Coerent has specialized in the manufacturing and technical support of PVD systems for high-vacuum thin-film deposition.
Our systems are designed to meet the production needs of companies of all sizes.
